The only credit card processor that will work with CBD businesses is Square. As CBD has not been approved for medical use by the FDA, Square cannot accept payments for hemp and other cannabis derivatives with claims that the products may be used to cure, treat, or aid in diagnosable health conditions, such as: inflammation, depression, PTSD, ADHD, or cancer.
Square also charges a higher credit card processing fee to CBD businesses.
